Klixfeed , a spam ads collection

As mentioned in the previous post Top paying New PPC – Klixfeed I have spent some time of my site on Klixfeed. Since it claimed itself as a Top Paying PPC network, I want to know if it is a good Google Adsense Alternative.

However, as mentioned in the previous post, the experience of me, as a publisher, is not good. The ads is showing incorrectly when the wordings are not in English, and also, the earning cpc rate is not that high at all.

However, I didn’t remove Klixfeed from my site, as I thought the rates may become better after the days of optimization. So, I decided to give it another chance.

After weeks, the situation was not improved at all. Therefore, before I remove it from my site, I tried to click on the ads and see what the visitor saw when they click on their interested ads.

And, I found this!!!

That’s horrible! I clicked on an ad banner which is related to travelling, but then it showed the followings! That’s totally a spam ads collection!! Also, none if them are related to travelling at all!!

Klixfeed is has super low quality ad

I have tried another time, and same thing happened!

Klixfeed is has super low quality ad, which is spam collection

It seems that Klixfeed is actually not a ads network provider at all! It is just another ad publisher, like us, the webmasters, who has registered many accounts at different ads networks. Then Klixfeed post spam ads as captured, claimed that it is top paying network, and then use us, the webmasters to post it’s ads on our site. Finally, the one who really get the earnings is Klixfeed, not publishers.

I am definitely going to remove Klixfeed, won’t try again anymore. I am so sorry to my site visitors and hope they didn’t get bad experiences from these spam ads from Klixfeed.

Klixfeed is suck suck and suck! Continue reading

Klixfeed Review – New PPC and Pop Up Ad Network

Few days ago when I was searching for a better Adsense Alternatives so that I can monetizing my websites. There are a lot of available ads networks to choose from, but none of them good. Finally I found a recommendation of Klixfeed, which claimed to be Top Paying PPC ad network with high quality.

Let’s see if it is true.

  • Brief Introduction

From the Klixfeed Official site, this is an ad network which are targeting to provide PPC (Pay-per-click) traffic and Pop UP traffics. They also provide affiliate links for publishers to publish their affiliated links, so that when site visitors click on the affiliate links and register as a Klixfeed user, the publisher get bonus.

It seems that they only count search traffics, just like Chitika.

  • Approval Process

After checking out the details of Klixfeed, I have registered a publisher account. After logging in and add the information of your site, you need to wait for Klixfeed to approve your site. Approval are based on sites, so if you have 5 sites, you need 5 separated approval.

Unfortunately, the approval process is quite slow. I have added the site for 3 days but the approval status is still ‘Pending’. I need to additionally contact the support to seek help. One more day later, after I contact their support, the site can finally be approved.

  •  Site minimum requirement

Base on the FAQ section of Klixfeed’s Official site, there are no special requirement on publisher’s websites. They also claimed that publishers will be paid for traffic from all countries. Therefore, even your site is an non-english and getting non- US traffic, it still works.

  • Ads models

Klixfeed support only PPC banner ads and PopUp ads

  • Support Asian traffic?

Yes it is supported. It can show Chinese ads if you use Chinese sites.

However, I don’t know the reason, but some browsers cannot show their ads correctly if there are non-english characters in their ads. Here is an example of using dolphin browser to read the ads:

Klixfeed- Chinese ads not showing properly

But if your site is English site than you won’t have this issues.

  • Fill rates

After approval, the ads can be shown immediately. Based on my experience, there are no empty ads at all. So I will say the fill rates is nearly 100% filled.

  • Pay rates, e.g. eCPM rates

Klixfeed is an PPC site, and only search traffic count. Therefore, eCPM rates and impressions are not concerned.

What they care is only CTR (click-through-rate).

After I have successfully added the ads to my site, I got one click. However that leads to quite a disappointed earning:

klixfeed's click rates

As captured in the statistics above, I got 1 click and that click, earned only $0.0006.That’s very unacceptable!

  • Payment Method

From their FAQ section, Klixfeed support Paypal, Skrill, Webmoney, Payoneer, Wire, Western Union

  • Payment threshold

$2 minimum

  • Proper Support?

Yes their support is nice and quick.

  • Is there any complaints for delayed payment? Is it a scam network?

Temporarily Klixfeed is still quite new, and still need time to see if they can really pay to publishers on time.
